Mrs. Yourn Chhum was born in 1964 and lives in Doun Vong village in Kandal province. She is a widow with a child who works in a garment factory. Although they work hard, they live in an old house which is in poor condition. In order to improve her life, Mrs. Yourn Chhum is applying for a loan to buy wood with which to build a new house. She hopes she can provide better conditions to her family with this loan.
